- Valorant launches June 2nd
- This includes: North America, Europe, South Korea, Brazil, Oceania, Japan and a few other areas
- Other regions will recieve a staggered roll-out. More info below.
The game officially launches on June 2nd. Everything we’ve seen so far suggests they are going to meet this deadline. After all, it was already more developed in beta than a lot of games after release.
“Our goal has always been to bring VALORANT to as much of the world as soon as possible, so we’re hyped to be able to do so on June 2.”
Which regions will it be available in?
“North America, Europe, South Korea, Brazil, Oceania, Japan and a few other areas will be getting onto the servers at some point on the 2nd of June, but there will be a staggered rollout for other areas.”
When will valorant be playable in all regions?
Info is a bit sketchy on other regions, but the most reliable info we have come directly from Valorant: “there are still some regions that we can’t get to just yet, like Vietnam, India, the Middle East, and a few others, but everyone is welcome.”
“For regions like Vietnam, we won’t be able to launch just yet, and for regions like India and the Middle East, we have future plans for you but for now will be mapping you to the SEA and EU servers, respectively. You’ll have higher latencies than we’d like, but we figured you’d want to play the game as soon as possible. Expect updates to come as we make progress here and please refer to your local channels for further information.”
Obviously all of this is subject to developments, but we will keep our eye on things and update this page as new info comes out. See you on the servers!
